Ive spent a couple of hours working hard on something FRESH and DIFFERENT for our Youtube Space, we use this to share the video media of Jodelle from Publicity and more with users online, we do have a media archive that has downloadable clipped media from Jodelles appearances in various projects, I hope you like the look! Twilight Convention Updates, Mighty Fine

Its a period piece. It takes place in the 70s, which makes me feel very old (laughs). Jodelle [Ferland] plays the youngest daughter, who really is intellectualizing this movie from Brooklyn to New Orleans, which, again, in the 70s, is really much more fish out of water than it would be today. And sheŐs this smart little fourteen-year-old that really is so in love with watching her family, and all she cares about is to make this family happy and healthy as they should be. ItŐs through her voiceover that we establish the movie, in the beginning, and itŐs through her efforts that the movie reaches what we hope will be a very satisfying ending. It's a small movie that, unlike a lot of small movies, has a beautiful arc. A lot of character development. And I will tell you that Chazz Palminteri and Andie MacDowell and Jodelle and Rainey [Qualley] really relate as a family, you really feel their connection. So that it does not feel like a cast but a family. ItŐs just through the eyes of a bright and sensitive 14-year-old dealing with a lot of family baggage.
Any word yet on release or distribution, or film festivals youre trying to get in?
Right now we are talking to some distributors that know the script, and like it, but we are really going to try toŃnot rush it in a bad way, but with our eye toward wanting to get this into Sundance. That's something we would like.

Interview, Team Bree, Mighty Fine News

Jodelle Ferland is creating buzz as Bree Tanner in Eclipse, you know, the #1 movie in the country that we've all seen at least twice now. We caught up with the 15-year-old, who confessed she's on Team Edward "most of the time," on the phone last month and discovered that not only did she read all the Twilight books back-to-back, but she signed on for the role of Bree without even reading the script! We also asked her about her plans for the Eclipse premiere black carpet.
"Oh yeah, I have a dress ready," she told us before the premiere. "And I'm very excited for it. I always like to have a dress in my closet that I can just pull out in case of an emergency. I bought a dress a while ago and I'm pretty sure I don't have anything else I'll need a fancy dress for before the premiere so that could be what I'm wearing. It's a pretty light color."
Not sure if the dress in the photo above is the light-colored dress she was talking about, it's light underneath the black lace, or if she switched dresses at the last minute. Too bad she got killed in the movie, but maybe Summit will make a movie of The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner (someone start an online petition).

Also added are some NEW photos from a 2009 Event and more from the Eclipse Premiere thanks a bunch to Jina and you can also see a photo of Jodelle with her sister Marisha and an event organiser at the Twilight Vancouver Convention this is an image exclusive to Miss Ferland and must not! be posted elsewhere

Privacy Issue, Fake Profiling

Our Website Posers page has been updated current MySpace, Twitter and Email Posers are listed there, If you have any info to add to this page please taff@jodelle-ferland.net">Email Us Jodelle and her family are currently experiencing some invasion of privacy, over the past couple of days it has been apparent that online Russian websites are displaying many personal images of Jodelle that shouldnt be online. Images that are posted here on Miss Ferland are copyrighted the Ferland Family and are exclusive to this website they should NOT be reposted elsewhere neither should they be cropped tagged or shaped in anyway. An invasion into a social networking profile as lead to the release of images that the Ferlands DO NOT want online, if you come across a website that are displaying these please email us and let us know. If you are the owner of a website currently displaying these images, please remove them immediately. Its something that is filling all of our time and it is not needed. If you are truly a supporter of Jodelle and her career you will respect her and her families wishes and do whats right and help prevent these images from being posted around the internet.
Thank you to everyone who have been contributing on the forums, twitter and Jodelles Facebook its all very encouraging and we hope that the matter will be resolved soon.
